Adding to the Media Library

You can insert media into your Media Library without having to include it in a page or post. This is a good option if you know you'll be using certain media in your site, but do not want to make it public yet.

  1. Login to your Expressions site and go to the Dashboard.
  2. Click on Media.
  3. To add new media, click on Add New.
  4. Select the file you want to upload, or simply drag and drop the file to the window.
    1. Please note that the maximum file upload size is 150 MB.
  5. A progress bar will appear as the media is being uploaded to your Media Library. You'll see the name of the file appear when it is finished uploading.
  6. From here, you can edit the media. The file you uploaded will now appear in your Media Library. When you are ready to insert the media into a page or a post, you will be able to do so from the Add Media button within the page or post.
