Navigating Inside Your Course

With Blackboard Ultra Navigation courses now open in a special layer that covers the main system navigation. This may require a different style of navigating inside of your Blackboard course, especially if you are accustomed to using the "back" button of your web browser. Regardless of where you are in your course, using the browser's back button will close the course and return you to the main navigation courses page.

To navigate more easily in the updated system, you should rely on your course menu to move between areas of your course. If you browse down a few layers into your course and would like to go back up a level, you can use the "breadcrumb trail" that appears on the top of the window. It will display the path you've taken to your current location and is clickable to take you higher in the folder structure.
