Reporting Computing Security Breaches
The Syracuse University Security Incident Response Team (SIRT) works with the campus community to provide a safe computing environment for students, faculty, and staff.
- Students, faculty, and staff can report computer security incidents or security concerns about the SU network, suspicious e-mail or file attachments, personal data integrity, or violations of the SU Information Technology Resources Acceptable Use Policy by calling Information Technology Services at 315.443.2677 or by emailing email@example.com.
- Computing support personnel should report security incidents directly to the SIRT. Procedures for reporting incidents and contact information are available on the SIRT Contact List page on SUShare.
