Practical approach to the Agile framework for the Software Development Life-Cycle. Participatory learning approaches to foster the skills and cultural mindset necessary for success in Agile Project Management.

Learning Objectives
After taking this course, students will be able to:
Describe the history, principles, and values of agile project management and the Agile Manifesto
Justify the need for agile project management and when projects require an agile approach
Define how agile project management is similar and how it is different from traditional project management lifecycles
Identify when to execute an agile, traditional, or hybrid project and why
Provide descriptions of the various agile project management methodologies and frameworks
Describe the difference between scrum, lean, Kanban, and other agile processes.
Describe the type organizational environment needed successful agile projects
Describe the type of project leadership needed for successful agile projects
Highlight the strategies and processes needed to properly plan and manage agile portfolios
Identify, understand and apply some of the tools used to implement agile processes
Foster continuous project and process improvement by conducting retrospectives and adapting project management methodologies.
