Given certain circumstances, such as COVID-19, students or faculty may not be able to access campus technology amenities for health and/or safety reasons. For this reason, it is recommend but not necessary for students to acquire a computer monitor, webcam, and headset (along with keyboard and mouse if need be) in order to heighten students' technology experiences on or off the campus.
Recommended Equipment Sets
Below you will find three sets for each product: Basic, Above-Average, and High-End; each one rising in quality moving from basic to the more expensive higher-end equipment. Products in each category will produce similar results with comparable specifications and price points, leaving the ultimate decision to the purchaser. Within each category, we have included an example product which correlates to the price point/desired specifications (whether basic, high-end, etc.).
(*NOTE: You do not need to purchase any specific product from this page. Feel free to find another product with similar specs to meet your needs.)
Additionally, the products can be mixed and match between tiers (Basic Camera, but High-End Monitor is perfectly acceptable). Lastly, if the student already has a computer setup or does not wish to purchase one, it is highly recommended to purchase one of the High-End headsets for off campus and possible on campus uses.
