  1. First, check that the student’s Smoothwall or Pfsense machine is turned on.
    1. These machines are usually found in the Smoothwalls folder, then in a subfolder inside for their class, the student’s machine will contain their netID used the student’s folder name.
      1. If this is the case, due to permissions, contact ITELL regarding the issue to be resolved.
    2. The student’s Smoothwall or Pfsense machine can also be located in the student folder.

      1. If this is the case, turn on the smoothwall/pfsense, if the VM still cannot connect to the Internet contact ITELL regarding the issue to be resolved.
