Below is an outline of the web hosting tiers offered by iSchool Tech Services and Syracuse University.

Preferred - iSchool CMS

Before requesting a stand-alone website for your organization, group, or project, take a look at the iSchool’s main website. We host basic informational pages for student organizations, research centers & labs, and a variety of other special initiatives. Often these basic pages are enough to deliver necessary information to your users without the complications of building, hosting, and maintaining a stand-alone website. Plus, you will enjoy traffic, search visibility and accessible templates of the iSchool’s website.

iSchool Tech Services will be responsible for meeting and maintaining WCAG 2.0 AA accessibility standards, compliance with the iSchool and Syracuse University brand standards, as well as addressing any security vulnerabilities that might be revealed during central IT’s weekly scans. To make sharing your page easier, we can set up a memorable vanity URL, such as ischool.syr.edu/yournamehere, or you can use your own .ischool.syr.edu domain.

To begin the process simply submit a request to the Communications Team Request.
