As an information resource management professional, Linda has worked in the information systems arena since 1984.  She has managed large corporate projects involving cross-functional business units and her experience includes work with the following industries: retail, leasing, insurance, and telecommunications.  Linda is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute (PMI).  Linda is an active member of the local PMI Chapter as a contributing teacher in the chapter’s PMP Exam Preparation class.

As a member of the Enterprise Process Support group, Linda manages large cross-functional multi-year projects.  Her most recent project involved a split of the PeopleSoft HRSA 9.0 (Human Resources/Student Administration 9.0) application into Campus Solutions 9.0 and upgrade to Human Capital Management 9.1. This project involved coordinating the project activities of 12 functional teams and 4 major ITS teams to a successful implementation in September 2014. Linda’s other similar projects include the Budget Hyperion Project, PeopleSoft Financials 9.0 Upgrade, and the PeopleSoft HRSA 9.0 Upgrade.    

Prior to joining the Enterprise Process Support group at Syracuse University, Linda worked as the Manager of Customer Repository System (CRS) Data Quality at The MONY Group.  Linda developed and managed the daily operations and project tasks of a new Data Quality team charged with major initiatives to clean up key information in CRS.  This included the development of roles, processes, workflow, documentation, training programs, and controls for the 25-person team.

Prior to The MONY Group, Linda worked at Telergy as an IT Delivery Management Project Manager.  She directed team efforts to ensure that Telergy’s IT systems would be able to handle the implementation of new products in support of Marketing initiatives.   This included developing detailed business requirements; creating an IT implementation model to support future company initiatives and internal geographic rollouts; and leading revision efforts on impacted systems that support order entry, provisioning, regulatory reporting, and billing.

Linda’s experience also includes 16 years at Agway working in all aspects of the IT project life cycle.  Prior to her transition to Telergy, she managed Agway’s enterprise-wide Y2K project, which included selecting and managing Y2K consultants; developing a methodology for software conversion; managing the enterprise test schedule; assisting business units with contingency plan development; and implementing the Y2K Emergency Response plan.  She developed the structure of Agway’s Y2K Steering Committee, chaired by Agway’s chief financial officer and comprised of senior level management from each business unit.  Linda also managed a project to search for a replacement to the Insurance Company’s Property and Casualty software package.  As an IT Subject Matter Expert on the Merchandise Management team of Agway’s enterprise-wide reengineering project, Linda developed business and IT functional requirements, along with process flows.

Linda began her career as a secondary school teacher in the Fayetteville-Manlius Central School District.  Specializing in Physical Education, she has a Bachelor of Science degree from Springfield College in Massachusetts and a Master of Science degree from SUNY at Cortland.
