Follow the instructions below to configure your iPhone to AirOrangeX.

Connecting an iPhone or iPad to AirOrangeX
Step 1: Open Settings
Open the "Settings" app. You may need to swipe between screen to find it.
Step 2: Connect to AirOrangeHelp
Under settings, select the Wi-Fi area. Select "AirOrangeHelp" to connect.
Step 3: Open Safari
Once connected to AirOrangeHelp, return to the home screen and click on Safari app.
Step 4: Run the Configuration Wizard
You will be automatically directed to airorangehelp.syr.edu. If not, please type "airorangehelp.syr.edu" into safari's URL location.
Click the "SU students, faculty and staff" link to be directed to the configuration wizard.
Load the Cloudpath installer.
You will need to acknowledge that a netid and password are required.
Allow the configuration profile to be shown.
You will be redirected to the images below. Click "Install".
Step 5: Enter Your NetID Credentials
If you have an administrative password on the phone, you will need to enter it.
You will then be prompted to provide your SU NetID (Username) and password. (not the SUID number or full syr.edu email address).
You will received a Profile Installed confirmation. Click Done
Step 6: Connect to AirOrangeX
When the profile is installed, you will need to return to the WiFi settings and select "AirOrangeX".
Network Access Control System
The Network Access Control System requires that you open your browser before using the network, even if you are checking your email, Youtube etc. with non-browser applications.
If you are still receiving the "airorangehelp.syr.edu" page (which is the page in Step 4) after successfully connecting to AirOrangeX, you will need to clear your Safari cache. Instructions to clear your web browser's cache may be found here.
If your device is not seeing any of the SU wireless networks, or you simply can't connect to AirOrangeHelp, you may be having software or hardware related issues with the device. We recommend contacting ITS for further assistance.
