If you've forgotten the password for your NetID account (used to access such services as MySlice, Blackboard, wireless, lab computers, and SU email accounts), and you have setup an SMS cell phone (US and Canada phones only) or a non-SU email address, you can change the password with the link for Forgot your Password? at:  You will receive a code on your mobile phone or at your non-SU email address to login and set up a new password.

If you're still having trouble, you can request a new password as follows:

  • Staff/Faculty: Contact your departmental computer support person first. You can also contact the ITS Help Desk at (315) 443-2677.
  • Applicants/Students/Alumni: Contact the ITS Help Desk at (315) 443-2677.

NOTE:  Password changes cannot be done via email.
